Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This policy explains what data Softellio Menu collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers both this website and the restaurant panel.
What we collect
- Account data you give us: business name, contact name, email address and phone number
- Menu content you create: categories, items, prices, photos and descriptions
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working
What the guest menu collects
The QR menu your guests see does not ask for a name, a phone number or a location. Menu analytics run on an anonymous session identifier that is not tied to a person. Where a guest places a takeaway order, the name and address they type are used only to fulfil that order.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the service to function — keeping you signed in and remembering your language. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data to third parties.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). Backups and encryption in transit and at rest are standard.
Sharing
We share data only with the suppliers needed to run the service — hosting, email delivery and payment processing — and only to the extent required. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction of it, or its deletion. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable period. Deleting your account removes your menu content from the live service.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
